Sophia serves as a Senior Associate at the firm, where her practice is focused on real estate and conveyancing matters. She advises across the full spectrum of the Singapore property market, acting on transactions ranging from residential acquisitions and developer sales to refinancing arrangements and collective sale matters. Her work often involves coordinating transactions where precision, timing and attention to detail are essential.

Sophia works closely with individual purchasers, investors, corporate clients and financial institutions, and regularly advises foreign clients on the acquisition and disposal of property in Singapore. She is familiar with the legal and regulatory considerations involved in such transactions and is able to guide clients through the process with clarity and discretion.

She is known for her measured and practical approach, with a focus on delivering clear, responsive and well-structured advice. Recognising that property often forms a key part of a client’s broader financial position, she approaches each transaction with both execution and longer-term considerations in mind.

Prior to returning to private practice, Sophia served as in-house counsel at a financial technology company, where she advised on regulatory, commercial and transactional matters. This experience informs her ability to provide commercially attuned advice, particularly in transactions involving financing and institutional stakeholders.

Outside of her practice, Sophia enjoys Singapore’s dining scene and spends time cooking and baking, pursuits that reflect her appreciation for precision and refinement. She is also the owner of an Airedale Terrier whose spirited nature keeps her on her toes. These interests mirror the same sense of balance, discipline and attention to detail that she brings to her work.
